Left Liverpool Sept 1 1981 put into Port Penrhyn, North Wales a couple of days later to prepare them for the journey to Greece. Vernicos Georgis" (ex Canada II) was towing other 2 tugs when tow broke off Pembrokeshire coast; all three driven aground on rocks off St Bride's bay and abondoned by crew.
