The history of the lighthouse is worth your car being searched and the admission. Just be prepared you are entering a military base and they do search your car.

The lighthouse is on a Military base. You must have your drivers license, proof of registration and insurance car for your vehicle. They will search your vehicle as well. There are NO weapons allowed
