È stato aperto l'8 ottobre 1907 come gemello del vicino Teatro Hicks (ora Gielgud Theatre) aperto dieci mesi prima. Entrambi i teatri furono progettati da W.G.R. Sprague.

Simply amazing performance last night. It was my first visit to the Queen's and Les Mis and I will come back next time I will come in London. Bravo!

Amazing show, the acting/singing is faultless! However considering the price of a ticket & length of the performance, a comfortable seat would have been good!

Les Mis has a very talented cast and a great set design with amazing props. Definitely a must see! A beautiful theatre..

Order at the bar beforehand for intermission, and beat the queues and relax. Beautiful theatre.
